| PLEASE NOTE:  Sorry, the Jail Pen Pal Ministry is NOT OPEN to the general public. We only recommend it in this web site as a Ministry Tool once you have an established Jail Ministry in your church. Your ministry director will receive first hand information from the Sheriff's department concerning the "do's and don't's" for jail mail. You will then select volunteer pen pals from your church who will faithfully abide by these rules, with no exceptions. By the way, we are never allowed to give inmates mail when we visit them or take letters from them to mail for them. All letters have to come to the jail mail room first, and for security reasons, are opened, read and inspected, before being delivered  to an inmate or being mailed by an inmate. |
