2011 Zambia Evangelism Training Conference Begins!
Dear Friends and Family,
Warm greetings to you in the Name of Christ! As our special Christian family, we invite you to be a part of God's work in Zambia through prayer.
Since early spring, we have been in preparation for the exciting 2011 Zambia ET (Evangelism Training) Conference! Boxes of training materials have been sent by Fed Ex, arriving safe and sound. For the first time, we were blessed to print the ET Training Books in Lusaka, Zambia, a huge savings in shipping costs. Also new this year, the Darien, Connecticut High School Band donated dozens of warm sweaters and jackets for youth to our Zambia mission......a tremendous blessing for the cold African winter season.
We are thrilled to announce, the time has come for the yearly conference!!! Tomorrow morning (Monday August 8th through the Friday, the 12th) the 2011 ET Zambia Conference will begin! It will take place in the Southern Province of Zambia in the area of Livingstone, near Victoria Falls. What an appropriate location as it is near the memorial of David Livingstone, one of the first missionary's to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Africa.
 We are expecting 120 pastors and church leaders from the near by villages to attend. Our ET Team, under the leadership of Pastor Maxen Phiri (pictured) and his faithful wife, Stellia, are on their way right now from Lusaka with other team members in a rented truck/van carrying all the training materials, food, and necessary living supplies for 5 days and nights for all who attend. TEN YEAR MISSION PLAN TO REACH 73 ZAMBIA TRIBES FOR JESUS CHRIST!
  In August, Bob and Ann Kuefner met with their ET Zambia co-partners in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia. The Zambia ET Team consists of Pastor Maxen and Stellia Phiri,their four sons (Matthew, David, Kenan and Jesse) plus assistance from Jack Baptist Deacons. Together, they coordinate and help lead the 5-day conferences throughout Zambia.
Together, with the Lord's guidance, the Kuefner's and Phiri's recently devised a 10 year plan to reach all 73 Zambia tribes for Jesus Christ by 2020. By equipping tribal church leaders to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ truthfully, effectively and boldly with their own people, in their own language, is the key!
Meanwhile, back in the USA, Bob and Ann update, print and send the training materials in the appropriate African languages and provide the funds to rent a truck, purchase food, and other necessary supplies.
ET is truly a volunteer team effort with those who love the Lord Jesus Christ and are obedient to carry out His command to "take the Good News of the Gospel to all the world."

ET PREPARES FOR AUGUST ZAMBIA CONFERENCE IN KATETE DISTRICT
From August 23 - 27th,2010, joyful songs of praise to God and much loving Christian fellowship will occur in the remote area of the Katete District on the border between Zambia and Mozambique! Over 100 pastors and church leaders will be coming together to attend an ET Conference to learn how to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ more accurately and boldly than they have ever known before. Most will come by foot, some by bike, animal drawn carts and others will catch a ride in the back of a truck. For 5 days and nights, they will live together, studying and focusing on memorizing a Biblical based outline,scriptures and illustrations while writing their own personal Christian testimony. In the evenings,they will be assigned a team to go out into the local community, observing and practicing sharing the Gospel.
Three meals a day with be provided, private sleeping areas will be available and all training and materials will be freely given, including an ET certificate at the final graduation celebration.
With much anticipation, ET Directors, Maxen Phiri in Zambia and Bob and Ann Kuefner of the U.S.A., have been coordinating the annual ET Conference plans together for months. ET Training books are being printed, ET Trainee Canvas Bags in bright colors have been ordered, colorful pens and name tags have been purchased, food money is being collected, boxes will be fed expressed to Zambia, a van is rented to carry all the equipment from Lusaka to the conference site, plus many other details are in the works!
Since 1997, free ET conferences have equipped and inspired over 1,000 pastors and church leaders in Zambia, representing 73 tribes and languages, to do the work of the evangelist and missionary so that "whoever believes in Jesus shall...

Christ Fellowship Church's Essence Women's Ministry A Blessing to ET!
On June 4, 2010, Ann Kuefner was invited to speak about the ET Zambia Ministry at the Father's House, Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville, Georgia. Sponsored by the Essence Women's Ministry mission's conference, Ann spoke on both the Biblical scriptures which command every Christian to share the Gospel as well as their 13 year ET Mission in Zambia. Founders, Ann and Bob Kuefner, are blessed to report the Essence Women's Ministry has become a supportive partner in the 2010 ET Conference in Zambia.
